Steps To Press DTF Transfers Onto Garment

Step 1 : Preheat the Press
Set your heat press to 325° and let it fully warm up before use.

Step 2 : Prep the Garment
Lay your garment flat on the press and smooth out any wrinkles or seams. You can press it for a few seconds to flatten and remove moisture.

Step 3 : Position the Transfer
Place the DTF transfer design face up on the garment in the desired location.

Step 4 : Apply Heat and Pressure
Press the transfer with firm pressure for 15-20 seconds.

Step 5 : Hot Peel the Film
Wait 2 - 4 seconds and from a corner, slowly peel off the transfer film for a clean finish.

Step 6 : (Optional) Repress for Durability
Repress for 5 seconds with parchment paper or a Teflon sheet to lock in the print.

DTF (Direct to Film) transfers are full-color prints made on a special film that can be heat-pressed onto garments. They require no pretreating, no weeding, and no mess — just press and peel.

Press the transfer at  325°F for 15-20 seconds using firm pressure. Wait for 2-4 seconds, then peel the film for best results. We include application instructions with every order.
